I was born and raised right here in Artesia, New Mexico, and this town has always been more than just a place to live—it’s home. My husband and I both were born and raised in this community, and now, as the proud owners of Century 21 Black Gold, we are honored to give back to the place that shaped us.

My journey began in nursing, where I discovered my passion for serving others. Helping people navigate some of life’s most significant moments became a calling, and that same passion for guiding and supporting others naturally led me to real estate. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest transitions in life, and I believe it should be approached with dedication, expertise, and a genuine commitment to the people involved.

Tatum is a seasoned sales professional and life long SE New Mexico resident. Growing up on the family ranch NE of Roswell, instilled in her a strong work ethic and discipline in completing all tasks to the best of her ability. She has over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service.

Tatum and her family fell in love with the small town feel of Artesia and are proud to call Artesia home. Her daughter is attending Artesia High School and is involved in several extracurricular activities through the school including FFA. Her husband is employed in the oil and gas industry and never misses an AHS football home game.

With her sales experience, strong work ethic and drive to see her customers excel, she will have your back and best interest throughout your buying or selling process.

Having lived in Artesia all her life Vanessa loves her town and the wonderful people in its community!

Real estate has been a long time passion brewing and she is very excited to serve her family and the community!

For the past 14 years Vanessa has been in property management and an office manager for a local oil and gas company.

She and her husband have two amazing children, both are educated in the Artesia Schools.
